Spirit Airlines is continuing to expand with its newest destination of Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) in New Hampshire. Later in 2021, Spirit Airlines will launch the following routes to Manchester (MHT):
- 1x daily Orlando (MCO) from October 7
- 1x daily Fort Lauderdale (FLL) from October 7
- 4x weekly Fort Myers (RSW) from November 17
- 3x weekly Tampa (TPA) from November 18
With the addition of Spirit Airlines, Manchester now has four airlines serving the airport following American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines.
Manchester, New Hampshire is the latest city Spirit Airlines has added as part of an aggressive expansion in the past few months. Spirit has recently added a series of new destinations, such as Louisville, Puerto Vallarta, Pensacola, St. Louis, and most recently, a 30-route entrance into Miami.
Earlier this year, Manchester Airport submitted a Small Community Air Service Development Program application which targeted new routes and carriers. In the application, Spirit Airlines notably submitted a letter of support for MHT's application. Despite the Department of Transportation not releasing grants yet, Manchester has successfully landed service from Spirit Airlines.
