Turkish Airlines has announced it will commence flights to two new destinations in the United States - Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas (DFW) and Denver, Colorado (DEN).

According to its investor relations press release, Turkish Airlines intends to launch flights to Dallas/Fort Worth and Denver. The specific details regarding aircraft, schedule, frequency, and more are currently unknown.

"The Incorporation decided to start operating scheduled flights, based on market conditions, to Dallas and Denver in the United States of America."

Assuming Turkish launches these two destinations from its Istanbul (IST) hub, Denver will become connected with the Middle East region. An Istanbul-Denver route would also represent Denver's longest flight in terms of distance.

Denver International Airport continues to see considerable growth as the aviation industry moves along the path of recovery. Recently, Air France announced it would commence flights from Paris to Denver.

With the addition of an Istanbul-Dallas route, DFW would gain a fourth nonstop route to the Middle East following Emirates and Qatar Airways to their respective hubs along with American Airlines' upcoming Tel Aviv flight.

DFW Airport is continuing to receive more capacity to the Middle East. Just recently, Qatar Airways boosted its Doha-DFW route from 10x weekly to 12x weekly.
